Team 6-4

Mrs. Summers

Michelle Summers

Hello! I am Mrs. Summers.  I am excited to teach mathematics and help students learn, become more proficient in reading and communicating in mathematics, and make real-world connections. My goal is to have students enjoy math and learn that math is everywhere and is part of their life.  I want all my students to feel successful and that each day they have learned and accomplished something.   I enjoy teaching math because it is fun!  I think Madison Middle School is a great place to come each day where we create a community of learners.

I am from Rexburg, Idaho, and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from Madison High School and BYU in Provo, Utah. I love to hang out with my family and enjoy the outdoors. I like to golf, hike, bike, ski, bake, sew, play the piano, and travel to see the many wonderful sites of our world.

Mrs. Bartell

Mrs. Bartell

Welcome to 6th grade! I am Parker Bartell and I am the science teacher on team 6-4. I was born here in Rexburg, but was raised in Idaho Falls. On October 13th, 2018. I married my high school best friend. We love all things Disney (especially Disneyland), traveling, and trying new things.

I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in April 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to become a teacher. Being a teacher, I feel, is one of the most rewarding professions there is. I have the opportunity to not only teach wonderful students, but also to learn from them. They are capable of so much more than they think, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help them along the way. My classroom is somewhere I want my students to feel safe, cared for, and be able to be themselves. We will do a lot of hands on activities, which I hope will create memories and encourage a love for learning!

Mr. Daley

Lynn Daley

My name is Mr. Daley; my wife and I grew up in California where most of our family still lives. I returned to school in 2009 after getting injured while working as a prison guard. My family has fallen in love with Rexburg since our move here in 2011. I have six kids, with my 2nd starting at Madison Middle School this year. This year students can look forward to adventure, fantasy, mystery, and humor as we discover the influences reading and writing has on our lives and the lives of those around us.
