We, in the Madison School District, share an equal concern with parents regarding the safe transportation of children to and from school.
On the following pages you will find rules, policies, and procedures regarding riding school buses in the Madison School District.
We ask that you help us in our effort to teach your children to be aware of and understand the bus rules. Doing so will ensure a safer ride for your children.
We encourage everyone in the community to be extra cautious when driving in school zones and around school buses. Please stop when red flashing lights have been engaged and remain stopped until school bus lights have been turned off. NEVER pass a school bus if lights are engaged!

Please have your children at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time found on the RIDE 360 App and inform your children to go home if the bus does not show up after 10 minutes.

Thank you for your patience as we launch this new program which will be HUGELY beneficial in the safety/whereabouts of your kiddos to and from school! This will also allow us to communicate with you route by route with any delays or problems.
First, take a moment to read the directions on the card in the attached photo. Download the APP and proceed with setting up a new account. Please note that the log-in and password are unique to this app. PowerSchool and Student ID are not used to set it up and log in.
Once you have followed the steps to create the account you will use your students ID number to assign them to their route.
To locate their student ID, check their student ID card (older students), request this from your child's secretary or call 208-359-3300 and speak with the district admin assistant to help you locate this in PowerSchool.
If you encounter problems and it is not assigning your child to a route, or it is incorrect, call the Transportation Department and they can help get this glitch fixed. If you don't get an answer, LEAVE A MESSAGE! They have a list of call backs and will get to them all!
If you have moved or are new to the district, PLEASE call the transportation department so we can ensure the information reflects these changes.
There have been VERY few changes to routes and times, if for whatever reason this isn't resolved tonight, have your student be at the pick-up stop from last year (if you don't know, ask a neighbor) FIVE minutes early. Our drivers go extra slow this first week while we get everyone where they are suppose to be.
