I was born and raised on a farm in Salmon, Idaho. I come from a family of eight children. After graduating from high school, I moved to Rexburg where I obtained an Associates Degree from Ricks College.
While raising a family, I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Lewis-Clark State College, and began my teaching career at Burton in
1998. I love teaching and working with children.
In 2011, I earned a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Literacy, from Idaho State University.
I am married to Stephen Burt. We keep busy with ten children and twenty-one grandchildren. Some of my hobbies are enjoying time with family, traveling, family history, reading, camping, hiking, riding Razors in the mountains, quilting, and needlework.
